Super Sunday

This past Sunday, Peter and I went to the Pistons v. Cavaliers game. Peter's boss had reserved the OfficeMax suite at The Palace and had two extra tickets, so he invited us to join him. My parents came over to our house around 11 am to babysit Olivia while we were away. Since we met Peter's boss at a carpool lot in Millford, we didn't get home until 8:20 pm! It was the longest time Olivia has been apart from both Peter and me simultaneously. According to our babysitters, Olivia had an eventful day. She took three naps (12-1pm, 3-4pm, and 6-7:30pm), played in her exersaucer, had floor mat time, practiced walking, read books, sang songs (Where is Thumbkin and Teddybear Song, which she fell asleep to), and played with Tookie and her other toys. Grandma said that Olivia would pick up her toys and roll her toy balls out of reach and then manuever to get them again. Uncle Roel and cousin Oliver also dropped by in the early afternoon to visit. They would take turns talking to each other and even made similar "aa-aahhh" sounds.

Peter and I had a fun time together. It's nice to get out of the house now and again, but I did miss my little girl and was excited to see her when I came home!
