Watercolor Business

Last Saturday (September 11), Peter and I worked our second job, Watercolors by Phyllis. We set up a vendor booth at the Garfield Park Neighborhood Association Arts & Craft Fair. It was our third art show and was a lot of fun, despite the rainy weather. Had the weather been more cooperative, I think there would have been more foot traffic and higher sales, but it was still interesting to meet the customers that braved the weather and see which note cards and prints they bought. The other vendors that had been to this show in the past told us it has been one of their best shows for sales. Oh well, we'll have to hope the weather is better next year.

Our booth #63 was in a great location along Burton Street.

Table with framed prints and boxed sets of note cards.

Rack with matted prints.

Lake Michigan Shoreline print of painting I did for third place winner of our Summer 2010 WBP Contest.
