Exersaucer Fun

Last night we went to Babies R Us and bought Olivia an exersaucer-jumper. We decided to get the girlie pink one since many of her things are gender neutral. After she went to bed, Peter and I assembled it. I was so excited to let her see it and use it this morning. When we put her in it she immediately started spinning the flower toy. She didn't really smile, but instead seemed curious about taking it all in. She is on the smaller side and her toes barely touched the ground. She stretched one leg down so the ball of her foot touched the carpet and the other leg dangled upward. She also leaned forward in the seat in order to reach the toys. She calmly took in each of the toy stations, but especially enjoyed spinning the flower. Even the noises didn't get her too excited. Here are some pictures of her initial use.

As the day went on, she seemed to enjoy her exersaucer time more and more (the manual suggests that smaller babies only have a maximum of 15 minutes at a time). At 8 pm tonight, she was smiling and even jumping a little. It was adorable!
