Last Friday we all drove 3 1/2 hours to Topinabee, MI to visit Peter's parents. This was our third trip up north with Olivia. She slept 3 hours straight in the car. I then fed her a bottle in the backseat as Peter kept driving. We met Mom & Dad at Applebee's in Gaylord. Olivia was quite happy to get out of her carseat and stretch her legs. The waitresses also loved Olivia, and one even asked to hold her. Olivia was pleasant with them and enjoyed looking around the restaurant. We then had to pack Olivia back up in the carseat and drive 40 minutes to Topinabee. Olivia cried the entire ride there. I can't say I blame her as she had already been in the car for 3 hours!
We had a great day Saturday; however, Olivia was quite tempermental and fussy. She only seemed to want to be held by her Daddy. We also played Scrabble (Dad won, with Peter 3 points behind) and a lot of Euchre. We split pretty evenly playing against Mom & Dad. Sunday we woke up to freezing rain, and Mom & Dad's church was canceled. It worked out, though, since it gave them more time with Olivia. It was a very fun weekend!
